Andy Freedman has been practicing in group therapy for almost a decade. A graduate of the Drexel Creative Arts therapy program, he is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Board Certified Music Therapist. In the Music Therapy field, Andy has been working with children, adolescents, and adults with trauma, psychiatric disorders and addiction.
Andy is trauma informed, which influences all of his approach to therapy.
He is experienced and trained in DBT, including co-facilitation of DBT groups. He has also done home visits to work with clients with Traumatic Brain Injury and developmental disorders. He is passionate about film, music, food, and has experience living abroad in East Asia.
