Barbara Kuleba is a Master’s level Mental Health and Art Therapist. Barbara has 15 years experience in the mental health field where she worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, residential treatment and outpatient. She has experience working with anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder and grief and loss, along with many other psychiatric disorders.
Barbara’s primary modality is Art Therapy. She provides a variety of materials including paints, clay, pastels, collage, crayons and markers. As an Art Therapist, Barbara creates a safe place for clients to express as part of the therapeutic process. She also follows a humanistic approach and believes that a healthy, therapeutic relationship is essential to promote growth and change.
Barbara received her Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Psychology from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. She then obtained a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Barbara is currently working on completing the requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is currently a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and a Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT) in the State of New Jersey.
Currently, Barbara offers individual therapy with adolescents and adults ranging from ages 8 and up. Barbara believes that art therapy can
provide the tools needed to gain insight in order for change to occur.
