Nick is a Licensed Associate Counselor and Board Certified Coach, passionate about helping individuals uncover the strengths and abilities within themselves that promote positive change. Nick received his Master’s degree with distinction in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rider University, with a concentration in Life and Vocational Coaching. He is experienced in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Mindfulness-Based, Person Centered, and Behavioral Modification within individual, couples, and family therapy. Nick takes a collaborative and individualized approach in working with clients, meeting them where they are in their own journey towards an improved life. He will work at a pace that suits your comfort level in order to best accomplish your goals.
Empathy, understanding, and relatability are cornerstones within Nick’s treatment process. He treats the individual as a whole, inclusive of one's environment, relationships, and personality. He takes great pride in his work and is grateful for any opportunity to get to know his client's on a personal level. Nick has 4 years of experience working with children through adults in a variety of settings, including outpatient, IOP/PHP, private practice, in-home/in-community, and telehealth.
Nick believes that taking care of one's mind is just as crucial as taking care of one's body. As a clinician, he is dedicated toward helping individuals fight mental health stigma and take the steps needed to foster improved emotional intelligence and emotional health. We all have the tools for improvement within us and there is nothing more rewarding than the opportunity to partner alongside someone throughout this journey.
