I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey. I attended Eastern University where I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology in 2018 and my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling in 2024. Between degrees, I worked at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for the Center for Autism Research.
Throughout my working experience, I have worked with children, teens, adults, and families at various levels. In addition to private practice, I currently provide in-school therapy for teens.
Areas that I focus and specialize in include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and emotional regulation. I have experience utilizing multiple therapeutic styles such as Cognitive-Behavioral therapy, Positive Psychology, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I embrace a strength-based, client-centered approach to support and assist individuals to achieve their goals.
Seeking therapy is not always easy and can require a lot of courage to be vulnerable and honest with yourself. My mission is to build a trusting relationship, creating a safe space, that encourages healing and growth. I strive to create a nonjudgemental environment allowing individuals to examine their patterns and overcome challenges. My approach is to meet each client at their own level of need, helping clients to be the version of themselves they strive for.
As a former dual sport, college-athlete, I understand the importance of mental health and prioritizing self-care. Managing life challenges can appear difficult and nearly impossible at times, however, facing adversity and developing self-confidence are essential in maintaining a healthy and fulfilling life. I look forward to helping process conflicting emotions, challenging negative thought patterns, and encouraging strength and resilience.
