Nancy has been providing clinical supervision to both new and seasoned clinicians for the past two decades. She finds this aspect of her career as one of the most rewarding: to be a part of the much-needed energy and enthusiasm new practitioners bring to the field or to go down the proverbial clinical rabbit hole with more complicated clinical situations. Her extensive time in the field as an educator, clinician, director and supervisor allow her to offer many different perspectives and lenses through which to view case study. She promotes growth as a therapist in the context of skill building, professional identity, and work life balance using a blended supervision model. Nancy adheres strictly to the ethical guidelines of her organizations, including the ATCB Code of Ethics, Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures and American Counseling Association’s Code of Ethics.
Nancy is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of New Jersey (37PC00328500) and Pennsylvania (PC005593), a registered and board-certified art therapist (ATR-BC #02-153), and Art Therapy Clinical Supervisor (ATCS), and a nationally approved clinical supervisor (ACS#1297). These credentials allow her to provide clinical supervision hours for the Pennsylvania LPC, New Jersey LPC and ART (Registered Art Therapist). She is a member of the American Art Therapy (AATA) association and an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Pennsylvania Art Therapy Association (PAATA). She is also a recipient of PAATA’s “Active Artist” award and “Excellence in Supervision” award.
Individual supervision is 1:1. The benefit of individual supervision is that the focus is entirely on a single supervisee and therefore the supervision plan and approach is tailored to the growth, experience, orientation, safety and development of that individual.
Group supervision not only serves to make clinical supervision more affordable, it exposes the supervisee to a multitude of settings/populations and a greater breadth of outlooks. As a member of the group, you gain access to a page where other members actively exchange resources and ideas and events are posted.
