Nancy MacGregor and Danielle Mikol met during their Master's degree training at Drexel University in 1998. They spent 20 years between graduation and the establishment of Key Counseling developing their professional identities, employed in a variety of mental health settings treating diverse populations, while also establishing homes and raising children. They have both been in management and leadership positions within different organizations and have enjoyed countless opportunities to enhance their clinical skills and expertise over the years.
Nancy and Danielle partnered in February of 2021, after overcoming some personal challenges and re-evaluating their career paths. They realized that they shared a mutual vision to establish a practice tailored to the delivery of high quality, individualized and holistically oriented clinical services to the individuals in their care.
It is important to them that their clients' unique mental health and overall wellness needs are given the attention they deserve and that they aren't made to feel like numbers being pushed through a system. Their goal is to provide counseling services that encourage their clients to feel connected to their therapists with the time and consistency necessary to foster safe and trusting client-therapist relationships.
Nancy and Danielle feel there is no greater honor than to witness the growth their clients experience over the course of treatment after making the commitment to invest in their mental health. Having witnessed their own transformations through adversity, they are especially motivated and inspired to act as agents of change, satisfaction, fulfillment and enhanced well-being in their clients.
