I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and have been working as a school counselor in New Jersey for the past six years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Public Health in 2018 and my Master's degree in Counseling in 2020, both from The College of New Jersey.
I enjoy working with individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, life transitions, career exploration, and within the LGBTQIA+ community. As a former college athlete, I also understand the unique pressures that can come with balancing performance, identity, and expectations, and I enjoy supporting athletes in prioritizing both their mental wellness and overall well-being.
I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel comfortable, understood, and accepted. My approach is person-centered, meaning I prioritize building a genuine therapeutic relationship where you can show up as your authentic self. From there, I tailor each session to your unique needs, goals, and strengths rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
I draw from a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you navigate life's challenges, build psychological flexibility, and develop practical tools that support lasting growth.
I am passionate about helping people gain clarity about what matters most to them and create lives that align with their values. While some circumstances may be outside of your control, I believe you have the capacity to respond in ways that reflect your strengths and move you toward a meaningful, fulfilling life. My hope is that therapy provides a space where you feel supported, empowered, and equipped to thrive through every stage of life.
