I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Joseph’s University.
My clinical experience started while I was pursuing my bachelor’s degree, working as a patient safety attendant alongside a psychiatric nurse in an inpatient psychiatric unit. I later became certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I worked with children and teens on the Autism Spectrum using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
I’ve also worked as a psychotherapist in private practice, helping adults & adolescents, manage issues like anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship struggles, family issues, anger management, self-esteem, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
I work with individuals and couples. I use an eclectic approach to therapy, tailoring it to each person’s unique needs. My approach is client centered and mindful. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques to help create meaningful growth. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and am certified in Gottman Level 1.
One of my main goals throughout the therapeutic process is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where each person can heal and grow.
Spirituality is a significant part of my life, and I believe that by helping others, I also help myself. I’ve been meditating and using mindfulness techniques since high school, and I’m happy to teach meditation and integrate Eastern spiritual teachings if desired by my clients in order to facilitate healing and personal growth.
Outside of work, I enjoy listening to records, playing guitar, spending time with friends and family, and connecting with nature.
