Please Note - We are NOT able to accept any Medicare or Medicaid plans including Keystone First, CHIP, Aetna Better Help, United Healthcare Community Plan, Highmark Wholecare etc.
Our PA office is in network with the plans listed below:
While we may be in network with your insurance, please be advised that it is your responsibility to contact the member services number listed on the back of your insurance card to determine specific information regarding behavioral health coverage, outpatient psychotherapy, required deductibles and co-pays.
Your personal financial responsibility per session will be determined by the deductible, copay and co-insurance applicable as claims are processed by your insurance provider. Key Counseling can provide an estimate of coverage but ultimately we will defer to information as it appears on processed claims.
If you choose to not use insurance, the Self Pay rate ranges from $100 - $150 per session depending on the assigned clinician. This information will be discussed with you prior to scheduling an appointment.
Out of Network Benefits -
If Key Counseling is not in network with you insurance plan we encourage you to research if you have "Out of Network Benefits". Some private insurance companies will reimburse you for a portion of your appointment fees with an "Out of Network Provider". You may begin by calling the number on the back of your ID card and asking the following questions:
Once confirmed that you have out-of-network benefits, our office can provide billing statements which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Some private insurance companies will reimburse you for a portion of your session fees (known as out-of-network benefits). If you’d like, you can look into whether you may be covered for an out-of-network therapist. You may begin by calling the number on the back of your card and asking the following questions:
Once confirmed that you have out-of-network benefits, your therapist can provide a statement which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you choose to be a Self Pay client, you are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of what the charges could be for psychotherapy services provided to you. While it is not possible for a psychotherapist to know, in advance, how many psychotherapy sessions may be necessary or appropriate for a given purpose, the Good Faith Estimate provides an estimate of the cost of services provided. Your total cost of services will depend upon the number of psychotherapy sessions you attend, your individual circumstances, and the type and amount of services that are provided to you.
This estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to obtain any services from the provider, nor does it include any services rendered to you that are not identified.
The Good Faith Estimate is not intended to serve as a recommendation for treatment or a prediction that you may need to attend a specified number of psychotherapy visits. The number of visits that are appropriate in your case, and the estimated cost for those services, depend on your needs and what you agree to in consultation with your therapist. You are entitled to disagree with any recommendations made to you concerning your treatment and you may discontinue treatment at any time. You will receive a copy of this Good Faith Estimate in your patient portal to be reviewed and signed upon attending your first intake appointment.
