I am a graduate of Drexel University’s Master of Art Therapy and Counseling program, and have been in professional practice for 7 years, with 11 years of cumulative clinical and therapy related work. I am a Board Certified Art Therapist, NJ Licensed Art Therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. In addition to clinical licenses and certifications, I also hold certification as a Mid Atlantic boxing coach, a passion and skill that I borrow from for clinical work where appropriate.
I specialize in treating and supporting individuals across the lifespan for executive dysfunction, depression, anxiety, social-emotional and behavioral challenges. My clinical work has also provided me the skillset and compassion to support individuals experiencing or recovering from complex traumas, abuse, and sex trafficking.
I take a person-centered and strengths based approach to therapy, and most often utilize art therapy media and interventions to support my clients. I am equally comfortable and proficient in engaging with traditional talk therapy, and depending on an individual's goals and preferences, I will provide treatment from a broad knowledge base including DBT, CBT, trauma informed care, and somatic interventions.
I believe we define ourselves and our lives despite external influences that may work against us or pressure us to believe a narrative other than our own. I may bring a dose of humor to sessions, and want your therapy to be a space where you feel welcome, understood, and whole.
